Mukdahan to Bangkok.

Featured Replies

I'm on a visa run to Savanakhet.I flew from Bangkok to Mukdahan vai Ubon Ratchasima with Nok Air but now I see that the flights back are booked out.

I am trying to find out the best way to fly back to Bangkok.

As far as I can see the cheapest way is to bus to Nakon Phanom and fly Air Asia from there.

Is that right or does anybody know a better way.

If so my next question is can any body recomend a cheap hotel near Nakon Phanom airport in case I have to stay there overnight.

If you are going to be there another night anyway, a comfortable seat on a VIP bus that runs overnight from Mukdahan might get you back to BKK before the next flight would. The seats are 3-across, 2+1, and I recommend choosing a seat by itself, which offers a bit more privacy. Yes, it's a long-haul, but I usually sleep through most of it.

What day do you plan on making the trip.

Nok Air has fly/ride service available via Nakhon Phanom tomorrow. (one today at 5 pm).

O.k,...UbonJoe.......your right.I was reading the site wrong.

It's only every second flight is sold out.

O.k....that's great...sorry about that................

Whatever you do don't use that horrible yellow bus company with their jalopy buses.

Ubon Ratchathani to Bangkok if I got it right?

14 flights daily(!) to DMK or BKK with Nok Air, Air Asia, Thai Smile, Lion Air.

Have another look, it's not Songkran but deep low season.

Just two examples.

Tonight, 19:50h, Thai Smile to Suvarnabhumi, 1250 Baht.

No sign of overbooking. I recommend it.

Air Asia to DMK, 19:25h, start price 1233 Baht. 3 seats left.

Tommorow 9:15h, 19:25h no prob.

Not sure all those airlines have a fly/ride service from Mukdahan to DMK via Nakhon Phanom.

Just edited: I refer to Ubon to Bangkok.

That's what I understand the OP originally wanted to do?

to Mukdahan vai Ubon Ratchasima with Nok Air but now I see that the flights back are booked out.

So the question remains how to get from Mukdahan to Ubon.

Should also not be magic?

Too late for today it seems.

For Nakhon Phanom anyway (16:45h)

Tommorow Air Asia 10:10h and 16:45h not sold out.

He used the Nok Air fly/ride service via here in Ubon. They do them via Ubon. Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Phanom. See: http://nokair.com/content/en/destinations/fly-n-ride/Ubon-Ratchathani-mukdahan.aspx
