webfact
Roll Up Roll Up! Police live at Emmanuelle Massage!Source: Daily NewsBANGKOK: -- A police raid on a top Bangkok massage parlour was broadcast live online as the crackdown on soapy sex reached a new audience Monday.Starring in the "Live from Emmanuelle Show" broadcast from Din Daeng was a group of Bangkok top brass led by deputy chief of Region 1 Sompong Chingduang. While most of the girls understandably hid their faces the police were happy to appear smiling and wai-ing for the cameras as they did their duty.No law breaking was discovered at all. The license was in order, there were no underage girls and all were Thai citizens. In fact no foreigners were used in the making of this movie that appeared on the Khaosod Faceboook page. Two other "Ab Ob Nuat" (soapy massage) establishments in the Huay Kwang district were also raided with similar results, reported Daily News Everything at The Lord in Rachadapisek was above board while at Soulmate in Rama 9 Road, also Huay Kwang, thirty massage girls were all over 20 years old, as were 20 "cheer" girls and serving girls. All urine tests for drugs came back negative and no foreigners were in sight.Charn Thiangtham, 48, who was in charge, produced the correct license for the 26 room establishment.Several massage parlours have now been visited following the raid on the Nataree Massage last week when underage girls and foreigners were found. Many top officers at Huay Kwang police station have been moved to inactive posts following the Nataree raid when an alleged tea money list was uncovered.Meanwhile police are still investigating the relevance of the issuing of beer chits to foreign massage girls at Nataree amid suggestions they were used to pay off police to stop arrests for illegal working. It has now been revealed that the chits were in the shape of a lion or Singh in Thai. Smiley Face
No law breaking was discovered at all. The license was in order, there were no underage girls and all were Thai citizens. So the entire charade went according to plan as the raid had probably been rehearsed well in advance. And most surprising was that no police were implicated in any wrong-doing at this establishment. Police corruption found at Natalee Massage certainly must have been an anomaly. What a surprise! ! !
Brer Fox
Meanwhile back at the ranch crime and corruption runs rampant, road safety does not exist, the country is overflowing with drugs and illegal immigrants. And the best the BIB can do to keep themselves entertained is to play their soapy massage raid games in front of cams and an audience. For a bigger and more appreciative audience these raids should include the army in full combat gear with automatic weapons. That should liven up the show. arthurboy
I wonder if the RTP actually thinks the public buys this BS? Still, I guess there was a budget allocated for this pony and trap show... Edited June 13, 2016 by arthurboy

So still no chance of 'officers' actually being dismissed or rightfully jailed for proven corruption and extortion in this new 'transparent' Thailand?? Stupid question. Apologies. justaphase
All soon be back to normal. Give it a fort night and the 17 year old Laos and Chinese will be back there. Proper dodgy ones are EVERYWHERE anyway, minus the massage. Edited June 14, 2016 by justaphase
outsider
What a laugh. I am appalled that the authorities involved, especially the brown clowns, can hold their heads up in pride for this thinly-veiled charade.
The stuttering parrot
Well one good thing about the raids we get to see some lovely legs! Number one the red up the back gets my vote. A little unfair to real, decent, hard-working clowns though I think.

dcsw53
Why is everyone complaining ? Excellently choreographed event, showing diligent police officers politely and quietly enforcing the law, and best of all no crimes committed. Shows Thailand to be the paradise it is. And it gave the police something tangible to investigate. Not those lies put around mostly by TV forum members about hideously unsafe driving, police and temple corruption, fly tipping and pollution, etc. etc, which sully the reputation of Thailand. Could I suggest a follow up where the police visit a tiger cub sanctuary ( if one is needed ) for a cuddly photo opportunity there ? More smiles all round !! Very interesting point, as the locations was in the Huay Kwang police station jurisdiction, one can maybe get the notion the brownies are doing their little thing to show the "greenies" that everything is ok now......"Look, no hands!" There's precedent for such pre-planning etc as years back there was a Minister of the Interior who used to get lots of publicity from his ' secret ' raids on nightclubs.. The raids were supposedly ' secret ' but no one ever tried to explain how the media were always there to record his arrival at the premises. No prudent question in the real world, inactive meaning like 1% unemployed inactive? More to the point; where the <deleted> is DSI? Or had they been give direction too. My belief is the Thai's are just sick of the circus - steer clear of this lot, the underpinning (lack of) action here and money involved is basic corruption - means their scared of implications.
