Youths reenact murder of soldier - pray for forgiveness to the "corpse"

Featured Replies

Were they wearing motorcycle helmets when they killed the soldier?

Hopefully covering a range of bruises and broken noses. And I'm sure they will get plenty more kickings before seeing the inside of a prison.

I doubt that, the victim is just another dead body, nothing special.

Crime reenactments, much like that charade at the Wat Phra Dhammakaya yesterday, showed me that all of this is purely for towering narcissists to get get their moment of glory.

The reenactments serve no point other than to be a photo shoot and a day of not working for many people. It's basically children playing at being grown ups.

That whole temple affair yesterday was just painfully embarrassing. Grown men dressed like the FBI, police officers with more medals than a North Korean army general. Men in orange pretending to be righteous to steal people's money and a s*** show of reporters asking no difficult questions. Very, very childish and pathetic.

It is so f ing stupid it doesn't even rate as pathetic.

I wonder if someone needs an interview for the job of corpse impersonator.

Since this was a supposed re-enactment did the assailants pray in front of the media at the time of the original offence too ?

Just another disgusting photo-op that does not display professionalism in any way.

Reenactments are part of the judicial process everywhere in the world, first world included, they can help checking the physical possibility of different parties' versions of events. In that case, since they are several attackers, it seems obvious to do one to try & determine the respective role and responsibilities of each assaillant.

I don't think you will find any 1st world Countries using the suspects in a crime scene investigation, please let me know which Country does this as I have never heard of it?

Reenactments are just a farce and almost certainly bear no relation to what actually happened, ironically these farces are admissible in court, utter nonsense and a waste of time.

As others point out, just a photo shoot for the police showing off all their well earned medals!!!

The police officers' cripple-killing sons are watching this with interest. Any progress on that case or is that a stupid question?

I have great faith in the Thai social media ( although FB is starting to endanger my health) . More and more Thais are expressing their opinions to one another - all for the good.

Hypocrisy at it best...

Why do they keep doing these stupid reenactments? Of what use are they?

They are great use to the families. Often they will get a few punches and kicks in.

I think they are not stupid at all.

OMG - they kill the guy and then pray for forgiveness! A good example of bad cultural values or religion or both. No idea about social responsibilities or taking responsibility for their criminal act. A 'rat pack' mentality! sad.png
