KHON KAEN: -- Two Loei university students were caught with 400 kilos of ganja - they were on their way to Khon Kaen to post it to Bangkok.

The pair were stopped by highway police at a road block in Nong Fang district of Khon Kaen, reported Thairath. The ganja was part of a 500 kilogram load they had picked up from a Laotian friend at the Mekhong River in Bung Kan province some time before. They had already delivered 100 kilos through using a well known delivery service.

The pair were named only as A and B aged 20 and 19. A is from Nong Hin, Loei, and B from Phu Kradung, also Loei. They were students at a well known government university in the north eastern border province.

Also taken into evidence were two guns and a lot of ammunition along with the pick up truck and a phone.

They told Khon Kaen highway police that they needed money for household expenses and setting up in business. They had already been paid 100,000 baht for a previous delivery of 100 kilos at Songkran but had stepped up to the bigger load this time for which they were to receive half a million baht. They had stashed the load in Loei before driving it to Khon Kaen for subsequent delivery to customers in Bangkok and surrounding areas.

"The pair were named only as A and B aged 20 and 19"

And they were named A and B because......?

Another story impossible to believe.

B1 and B2 were already taken.

Again we have Thai crims with their faces blocked. This time it is villain A and villain B with 400 kilos of the weed and guns and ammunition.Surely this is taking "loss of face" to the extreme. Seems like we now have "loss of name" also.

Thailand's entrepreneurs of the future. Selling drugs seemed the logical course, as they didn't have a FIL to approve a dodgy computer contract.

It's easy to add in S and U later...to fill the stiched Up and do the time instead slot. .no doubt be kids of well known someone

yeah would seem so, the social media will have the names by now

Just enough for one good weekend.

A was police chief's son B was governor's son. They also found out who delivery was going to and did the shipment to get the payment. Police retirement fund.

Thailand, legalize weed! This country is not the land of smiles, it's the land of anger, violence, and murder.

Give the people what God has blessed them with in nature.

silly pawns being used

....always obviously guilty....but never.....

...this is insane......

...meanwhile foreigners are rotting in their prisons....for mere specks......

Yes, blocked faces, not real names has been happening more just recently.

You might remember that in fact it's illegal, in Thailand, to show faces and some details of names until proven guilty, although in the past the RTP have obviously ignored this law.

The media have also in the past ignored this law, perhaps they are also changing their ways.

But I'm not convinced just yet.

And they're talking about regulating/easing off on ya ba. Why not cannabis ?

Now that there is a nice big stockpile of ganja, perhaps there will now be talk of legalising it!

Not anymore, legal weed with better quality is starting to be available in other countries.

Loei students caught about to post ganja to Bangkok

I wonder what the post office would have said when these two walked in with a cartload of parcels?

How long would it toke to get to Bangkok from Loei? Two students thus a joint operation. I wonder how long they'll get bhanged up?......facepalm.gif

As long as you don't refine it. A nice opium den would be a good addition to Pattaya scenery.

Your post made complete sense up until you added "God" into it.
