mcgriffith
Currently living in Chiang Mai on Category O non-immigrant visa. In late Dec., when visa expires will be applying at CM Immigration for multi-entry retirement visa. Have all my ducks in a row as far as acquiring this (800K, consular letter, Thai bank statement, etc.) My question is this: I recently read on this forum info related to importation of household goods w/ retirement visa-6 month minimum time window from issue date of visa, etc. no 2's of anything et al. Please excuse me, I know I could probably find out what follows by doing volumnious searches, reading of innumerable forms and postings, etc. Can I import a vehicle, specifically a 1000cc motorcycle (2004 Aprilia RSV-R Factory model)? Give it to me straight, guys (and gals) Thanks! Mark in Chiang Mai
lopburi3
Sorry but you can not import anything without paying normal import duties.
mcgriffith
Sorry but you can not import anything without paying normal import duties. Thanks for the quick response, I guess I'll just have to buy a CBR150R and scream around on that! Edited November 13, 2006 by mcgriffith
