A fifth Navy communication satellite has been launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida for use by the U.S. military worldwide.

Once operational the satellite will help provide US soldiers with a mobile phone connection wherever they are deployed in the world.

Say what!!!! Why would the US (land of the free) require 255,000 personnel off shore? To protect against who? I guess the "military/industrial" complex needs to keep the legions offshore to protect their interests??

The US military has divided the earth in a grid and has capabilities everywhere, anytime.

Boggles the mind. The country is broke and candidates say the military need rebuilding.

The US could knock off 70% off the military spending and still kick China and Russia's ass at the same time.

Places like N Korea or Iran barely register on the chart.
