Life Cert. for UK pension

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have been sent a form to complete saying I am still alive.

It has to be witnessed by a proffesional or local gov. official or similar.

Trouble is they will sign in Thai script and write their address and conact details in Thai script which will be indecipherable in the UK.

Does this matter? Will the UK pension people accept that or do I have to find an English speaker to witness it?

Thanks for any help

There is already a thread running on this.

If you use a Thai I suggest you complete their address in English and get them to put their stamp on the right hand side of page 2.

Remember - anyone who can countersign a UK passport application can certify the form (not just the 7 bullet point occupations on the covering letter.

Did mine last week, filled it out in English including the witness Thai name in English script then got her to use the company stamp as required, she is my dentist!
