There is a lot of ignorance on here, but even the ignorant have no excuse for rudeness and for nasty remarks. Su is without doubt one of the greatest Thai singers who have ever lived, her sound is unmistakable and unique. It has always been a thrill to see her and hear her golden voice on stage and anyone who knows her, let alone who is married to her is a fortunate person. I wish both years of happiness and love.

Great lady, many years ago my missus was a back up dancer and singer for her when they both were starting out on the country circuit. Wouter probably wasn't even conceived then.

I first met her in 2003. very nice person and one of Thailand's great singers, Good luck to both of them. She deserves some happiness, her fist husband was cheating on her when she was pregnant, she already has two grown up boys. Strange if the ages were the other way around the snide comments would not be here.

The woman was already on the fringes of respectable society looking in, so it doesn't matter if she marries this scruffy guy. She has nothing to lose since it seems she lost her dignity long ago. It's her life. I don't think her kids will be too happy, but as long as she gives them money I'm sure they will be ok. This is not high society. It's a low end singer who is in the twilight of her career.

Actually she is still very popular and I think her kids don't give a shit what she does. How do you know she is a low end singer?

Looking on the Youtube videos most of her songs generate a million over plays. Certainly not bad for a low wend singer. I know several low-end singers that still generate 60-70,000 Baht a month in licence fees and they do better then many farangs.

Fell in love with her voice first time I heard her way back. She always has time for fans at her concerts, stepping up on stage to take photos with her .After Pumpuang died she inherited the Queen of Thai Country title.I always enjoy seeing her as one of the judges on Thai Country music contests.

Not really my kind of music, but top marks, very pleasant and easy to listen to, and it sure beats the screaming rubbish you hear (unfortunately) on the stupid "signing contest " shows on all day every day.

Singing contests on TV are great, Su is a judge on one of them, I think she ran off to Korat and won her first contest aged 12, 100 baht prize I think it was! Contests are an important way to get noticed.

I have been to many 'way tee thai' concerts and have sung on stage the song' tong me suk wung, tong me suk wong'. Channel 5 even showed me singing live. I have met Jonas the farang look tung singer personally as well. I enjoy look tung and singing karaoke at home.
