Non-B

Featured Replies

Hi

Two quick questions for the experts smile.png

1. Can a Non-B be extended for more than the 90 day period or must a WP be obtained within that time?

2. I have 13 days left on a TV. Can I still go to Laos to apply for and change my TV to a Non-B? I was wondering if I have to maybe apply in advance. Can never be sure of anything in this country.

1. You must have a work permit to extend the 90 day entry from a non-b visa.

2. You can apply for a non-b visa at any time during the entry from a tourist visa if you have the required documents to apply for it. The entry ends as soon as you leave so it is not relevant.

Unless you are teaching the work permit application must be done and proof of that will be required to apply.

And one more additional question. Where do you think the best place is to go for this? (in terms of the highest success rate/most relaxed rules) Vientiane is my instinct but open to other suggestions.

Vientiane is the best place to get it.
