trainman34014
In this obscenity of a country he will probably return with a much larger cash offer and walk. There is no proper justice here for the 'normal' citizen and it won't change unless someone has the guts to tear down the whole corrupt and rotten system. Will never happen in our lifetimes as the so called 'Elite' have their hands firmly around the country's throat !

simonuk
Full justice bought to bear on a wealthy Thai?... Have you guys not been paying attention to the news since ...forever? It doesn't happen. One way or the other £££s trump the law. Always.

dageurreotype
Anyone who was smart would have accepted the money. Anyone who is not smart would put their trust in the Thai judicial system. Could have paid some minions with that money to seek justice outside the courts... Oh well, next time. There is a chasm of difference between accepting compensation for financial loss, of property/fraud for instance, and the loss of a child. Who on earth would be able to look at themselves in the mirror after noting their bank balance just increased because their kid just got murdered? It goes without saying I discount the loss of a breadwinner, leaving a wife and children.
