RE: incorrect 30 stamp for a tourist visa (as opposed to 60 days) upon entering Thailand

Upon arriving i explained the situation to a most agreeable lady at the information counter she handed my passport to a lady at a lower desk to her left. The lady there said it was indeed a mistake and mentioned that with these new regulations she herself was a little puzzled with the whole thing. She told me to go to counter 519 (stamp correction ) ... no ticket , no queue i just had to run across the road and photocopy 2 pages of my passport, fill in a small form and i was away with a nice new stamp. Took about ten minutes. Praise be to allah the most high.
