For non-US taxpayers residing in Thailand, and having no tax residency status in any other country, the FATCA/CRS form is all that is required, and even then, all answers will be "No". Part 1 only concerns FATCA. Part 2 is the relevant part for non-US citizens/tax payers - ie/ the CRS declaration. It's only for tax residency outside the US and Thailand. You aren't required to give your Thai TIN, if you even have one. -

Tell us what "US Institutions" are being "destroyed"? Tell us which Cabinet positions are evidence of that, and what exactly is the plan? Tell us what the limits of Presidential authority are over the exectutive branch. Are you referring to the Department of Education? Please tell me what portion of the US Constitution mandates the Department of Education? Tell us what the Department of Education does. The FBI? Please tell us whether you beleive that the FBI has ever violated the civil rights of Americans? How about the actions of the FBI and the Department of Justice in the Bulger and Scarpa cases? By the way tell us what Orban has done to "destroy" democracy. You speak Hungarian, correct? -

This isn't 1949, in case you missed that little detail. Moreover, neither the USA nor the entirety of NATO has the military capacity to fight a prolonged ground war against Russia. The war would escalate, as wars always do, and Western Europe's capital cities would be obliterated.. Paris, London, Berlin, Warsaw, and various military targets. They would all be gone in less than 30 minutes. What you don't seem to understand that it's not a question of right or wrong. You can be right and still end up dead. Russia perceives an existential threat and it will respond accordingly. Ukraine NATO membership and the Russia-speaking areas of Ukraine are not worth sacrificing the lives of hundreds of millions of people. Billions, perhaps, if things get out of hand. -

Yes, definitely, this is why I haven't changed anything to my money transfers since early 2015. IMO RD 743 just grandfathered the rules as they were before the September 2023 change.
