jimcarr65
I hope someone can answer this for me. I am a teacher here in Thailand, received my work permit and it expires June 14th, 2017. My Non B was valid until July 24th, 2016. Today I went to get my extension of stay based on work at Immigration, and instead of giving me a one year date of July 23rd, 2016, they stamped May 31, 2017. That is about 6 weeks shy of a full year. Someone told me it was based on my work permit. However, my co-teacher friend went up right after me with the same documents, same school and same dates on everything, and he got a stamp for July 12th, 2017. Does anyone know why this happened? Also, a Philippine teacher went two weeks ago, and the same thing happened to him. Do they just stamp at random? Possibly alternate between shorting someone and giving the correct stamp. Just curious if anyone knows?
