I booked five rooms once for me and my kids, two nights, at a very expensive (for me!!) hotel in Berlin. Pressed pay......I knew it was non-refundable......got the wrong bloody dates!!!!! Called Booking.com, in those days you could speak to a real human.......bit of to-ing and fro-ing, but they sorted it with the hotel.......so I've stuck with them ever since.
