To get the proof of income needed from Canadian Embassy, what must I provide as proof?

I have sufficient funds flowing through my Canadian Corporation's bank account.. but I have nothing that has my name on any bank statement.. just corporation.

And I do not file taxes on any of this income in Canada.. So does the Embassy do anything with the info I provide? I likely do not even need to pay tax but would prefer to stay under the radar in that respect..

So any issues?

Conclusion, I can show proof of sufficient income. I just do not want the Canadian Embassy to create problems for me regarding my tax status.

Even though you swear to an affidavit that you have a certain level of income, the Embassy requires "proof" (e.g. a letter from your bank) as supporting evidence -- in case Thai Immigration ever asks questions (so I was told explicitly).

A multiple entry non-o visa requires leaving the country every 90 days for a new entry. It is certainly not what you want.

All you need is a single entry non-o visa and then apply for a a one year extension of stay based upon marriage at immigration. You can use the 400k baht in the bank for 2 months option or the 40 baht income option.

I don't think any supporting documents you supply to the Canadian embassy when you the statutory declaration to prove your income will go any further than the embassy. Not sure but I think they may give it back to you.

That's true, but the Canadian Embassy in Bangkok does require some sort of back-up proof, as Goethe stated in #3, eg copies of bank statement showing regular monthly pension deposits etc. Unlike the U.S.Embassy, who do not require you to prove what you are swearing to on the affidavit.

I'm not sure shuffling pay-pal into the account every month would meet their requirements.

Some Immigration officers may just ask for proof of what you claim. Best prepared.
