PHITSANULOK: -- The body of a young man found in Phitsanulok on Saturday has been identified. He is an Indian national called Hem Singh.

He had opened a restaurant with a Thai woman in Sukhothai, reported Daily News. The body was found wrapped in a cloth in the Yom Sai Kao river in Tha Chang sub-district. The woman has admitted that the cloth is hers.

And in a latest development on Sunday Phrom Phiman police investigating say that a cement seat from the restaurant was used to help conceal the body and was found in the river.

Police said they have interviewed people at a number of addresses and are gathering detailed evidence in the matter.

Probably the money given is not enough for the women and killed over an argument as expected. Most of the farang friends have everyday trouble about money giving to their local wife's, some even take leave from work to settle with their money disputes with their wifes. Those who cannot settle really could be a victim one day.

I got an impression that from a newspaper that he sleep walking round and that it was a suicide

Gee I suspect it will be put down as another suicide since police cannot find any struggle involved

Indian duo held in murder of countryman in Phitsanulok

PHITSANULOK:-- Two Indian nationals have been held in connection with the death of their employer who was found murdered in a Phitsanulok river at the weekend.

Hem Singh, 36, was found wrapped in a blanket that was tied with rope and weighed down in the Yom Sai Kao river with a cement seat. He had been stabbed four times in the chest and four times in the back.

Phrom Piman police went to the "Ali Baba - Indian Food" restaurant in Sukhothai that Hem ran with his Thai wife Somjai Promnakha, 36.

At the restaurant two Indian men - Devender Singh, 25, a cook, and Ravish Jyani, 23 told investigators that Hem had gone to Bangkok and they didn't know when he would be back.

They both denied any involvement in their employer's disappearance.

Sukhothai forensics officers compared the cement seat found with the body and said it matched one missing from the restaurant. DNA was taken from the two Indian men and the wife who has a young daughter with the deceased.

Blood stains were found in the two men's living quarters and in the boot of the deceased's Honda City. They tested positive for being human blood. DNA evidence was also taken from the rooms and the car.

Both Indian men had many cuts on their hands, back and neck and were sent to hospital for further analysis.

In addition witnesses said that on Saturday Hem was seen drinking alcohol in the restaurant with the two men. They were initially held on working illegally as investigators feared they would flee.

Investigations continue.

Dna test Will be concluded in a day or so confirming the Dna swabs taken from the suspects belong to the suspects

Now the Indian guys are getting off'd here. Poor guy.

In my years here I at least know when dealing with property or the likes that you're only borrowing it even though one has purchased it. This is why all is rented and/or can be dropped. No shame walking away.

8 years seems very generous, I would have put it more close to 5

You should be a detective your not far from the truth.

I was a bit shocked when I heard Hem had be topped he came across as a nice guy.

Use to have a chat with him, drinking other Thai buddies and ate in his restaurant when it was in the village but he had moved and set up this resent one.
