The last few years I've run off to the islands and the only time I was there for NYE it was rather subdubed due to the Tusnami in 04 did the Workd Trade Center that year. I have a friend in from the states so stayiing in BKK. What's going on in the city on the eve, where to party or any suggestions on where to be for the western NY.

Perhaps the closer the date gets people might lend some useful information. The WTC was pretty fun but as I noted when the clock hit 2005 it was subdued and no fireworks even. I imagine KSR might be fun and well as some of the traditional entertainment venues/zones. Do I need to spell those out for you too!
