Interim charter to be amended if people reject draft charter

BANGKOK, 19 July 2016 (NNT) - Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam said that if the majority of voters reject the draft charter in the referendum, then the interim charter would have to be amended.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the 2014 Interim Constitution would have to be amended, since does not provide guidance in the event that the draft constitution is rejected in the referendum.

The constitutional amendment would pave the way for a another constitution to be drafted. Dr. Wissanu did not specify the governmental mechanisms behind the drafting of another constitution or the drafting timeframe, saying that these details would depend on several factors.

The Deputy Prime Minister also did not confirm whether the constitution would be drafted from scratch or revised from the previous versions of the draft charter.

Give it a rest you lot, just going around and around in circles with unintelligent gibberish. The majority of the people either don't give a dam or couldn't care less.

How about restoring Constitution the Junta threw out and then holding elections? Nah...

Emster I assume you want to bring Thaksin back too.
