Hi I would like to know what I need to apply for re-entry permit at DMK. I read online that the office is behind the passport control so what I should do is go through the passport control after that I head to the office right? 1 more question can a tourist visa apply for re entry also?

Yes and yes.

Clear passport control, then look for the overstay office. The re-entry permits at DMK are issued in the same office.

I assume I don't need anything other than my passport and cash right ?

Good idea to always have 2-3 extra photos clipped in the back of your passport Just In Case.
