Provincial EC has to file complaint against two kids for tearing up voters’ list

Featured Replies

I wonder if the EC filed complaints against the adults that were part of Suthep's gang that disrupted the last general election ?

Whilst we are asking questions, how did two eight year olds got their hands on those voter lists in the first place ?

Stood on a chair to reach them?

To bring fair (I never thought I would say that about officialdom ), as I understand it neither the EC nor the Police intend proceeding against these children.

The story was just mentioned on BBC World Service

The op talks about voter list, which I would take for a list of registered voters ! From the OP: who were caught tearing up list of eligible voters in Chanuwornlak Buri district

Apparently it was a notice hanging on the wall, something I didn't read in the OP but in another OP handling the same case, this makes it all the more ridiculous but indeed negates my second question.

Officaldom doesn't need any leniency here, they could simply NOT file a complaint and be done with it.

And of course the next question, was it a advanced voting notice as stated by one OP or a list of eligible voters as stated in this one. I'm confused. What did the two 8 year olds do to make filing a complaint necessary, I'm dying to hear the correct story here.

I would hazard a guess that the local head rozzer who was sacked over this was the victim of internal police politics. The rest is the fallout from that.

and if the two 8 yo girls are found guilty, what will be the sentence? I know this is a stupid question... but i fear the worst from these monkey people.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say these two girls were definitely put up to it by ill intentioned forces, not a million miles from Dubai. There have been further reports that a group of monkeys have also been fund destroying election material.A sharp lesson is required and these Thaksin financed creatures should be taken in for prolonged attitude adjustment.Enough is enough.

Has Thailand gone bananas?

First, two 8-year old girls in Kamphaeng Phet tear up voter-lists, and official charges of some sort are still pending. Then a cop is sent to an inactive post for not reporting the kids actions to superiors.

And now, about 100 monkeys have gotten into the act in a similar ripping session in Phichit (see candide's link above). Only this time, the local cop HAS reported the incident to his superior!

Another example of "ill-intentioned people" trying to sabotage the referendum. smile.png

Wonder who the ill intentioned, dark force, unseen hand mastermind behind this is ?

The young girls my just have been that, children but it takes real organisation to get 100 monkeys to act.

you people are so cynical sometimes, DJJamie will tell you, it's obvious Thaksin told the 8 year olds to do it

It will take the minds of monkeys to catch those monkeys. Shouldn't be hard to find those minds.

It needs time for training them, i.e. give them a banana each time they tear up a pink paper and an electric shock each time it's another colour. ;)
