Best way to get to Bangna Mall from Asoke

Looks like the BTS just about goes all the way? Got a taxi last time took well over an hour. Any suggestions?

Which station do I get off. Looks like a choice of two about same distance away, on the map anyway. Do I need to get a cab from the station?

It is either Udom Suk or Bagna station.

Not sure if it is still the case but there is/was a free shuttle bus from Udom Suk to the mall, find the signs and you will find the shuttle.

If no shuttle take a taxi, not really that farm, about 10-15 minutes.

Not clear where you mean by Bangna Mall, possibly Central Bangna or Mega Bangna.

For Central Bangna get the BTS to Udomsuk BTS (exit 5 i think) and catch a taxi 5 minutes. On the return, walk over the footbridge in front of Central and catch a taxi (either to Bangna BTS which is quicker n easier or to Udomsuk).

For Mega Bangna get the BTS to Udomsuk BTS (exit 5 i think) and catch a taxi 15 minutes or get the FREE bus (http://www.richardbarrow.com/2013/03/free-shuttle-buses-for-megabangna/). Free bus back to Udomsuk or taxi to Bangna or Udomsuk BTS.

Actually I'm not sure which one it was? Went there last year. Huge mall. Had all the normal big brand shops but what I liked about it was everyone had sales and discounts etc. Looked like a mall for people who live here, unlike terminal 21 etc where everything is full retail

In the area there is (in my ordr of preference):

Central Bangna = +20 years old, think its 7 floors, has everything, our preference. Closest to BTS.

MegaBangna = few years old, 15km down the BangnaTrat road, very large, ikea, 2 floors only in an oval so lots of walking.

Paradise = 20 minutes in taxi from udomsuk. On srinakharin very close to Seacon. Used to be called Seri Centre but was refurbished as Paradise a few years back.

Seacon Square = 20 minutes in taxi from udomsuk. On srinakharin. Used to be largest in asia. Bit old now in my opinion.

I used the free shuttle bus once from the BTS. They don't run very often but there were plenty of seats. Exit 5 according to the website.

I've always caught a taxi from Udomsuk to Mega, it's quick as you're in the traffic leaving the City, cost less than b100.

Yup, you are actually heading for Mega Bangna Mall...a very big and beautiful mall! From BTS Asoke Station head for Udom Suk Station. Go down the station and wait for the FREE shuttle service by IKEA. If you are in a hurry, you can take a taxi which would cost less than 100 baht. Enjoy!
