Bloody infuriating! EVA have updated the look and layout of there booking page and by the looks of it have removed the option to part pay with air miles. I want to book up today if I can. Contacts are also useless, I have called 6 or 7 different ticketing offices and customer service offices in different continents and tney are all closed on Saturday. How can that be true? You honestly cant book a ticket with these idiots unless you do it on line?

Not that it helps but there is some mention of this in their "Travel News";

<Online Booking> Miles & Cash service will be unavailable starting from May 26th 2016
  • To upgrade our services, Miles & Cash transactions for departing from United States and Canada will be temporarily unavailable starting from Dec.12, 2015. If you have any questions, please contact 1-800-695-1188 or our localreservation & ticket center for further assistance.
  • To upgrade our services, global Miles & Cash service will be temporarily unavailable starting from May.26, 2016, and Taiwan market will be temporarily unavailable starting from Jun 1st 2016.

EVAs site has gotten worse and worse especially the last two years. I loved EVA, have flown my last seven trips Premium Elite, was focusing my miles on just one airline. At least I got some price discounts by logging in, selecting my flight and then moving the slider along and using miles and getting dollars knocked off. As far as using miles in a lump to get free tickets, that seemed intractible.
