Selling a "bag" worth over $4,000. Someone should be doing a bank check on this guy.

Stupid post

The guy's a bloody doctor for God's sake

He might have investments, family money or just a huge line of credit.

How do you know he doesn't own a load of condos that he rents out?

Anyone would think that it's only farangs who can afford to buy expensive stuff ......if there weren't so many of them wolfing down 30 baht meals made from offal at the Tesco Lotus or Big C food halls

Sometimes it's better to stay quiet instead of posting your experiences online, and remove all doubts that you're an idiot.

this is a simple case of lapse.

surely you must confirm receipt if the funds before

you should return any overpayment.

of course it is easy in hind sight.

Doctor and police expert, it says so long about all of these people ability to solve cases...Where is their famous Asian face, aren't they ashame to disclose such stupidity ?

I get fake mail from Paypal every week, and from all the banks in my homecountry as well, even banks where i don't have an account or never had...

Also i get often mail from Apple that my account is locked, never had an Apple or an account.

I am glad the Doctor did this , because if it was an average working person it would have not gotten any coverage ,

there are so many cons out there , and its easy to get pulled in , greed helps pull you in too !

But just remember if its too good to be real , ......... slow down or walk away.....

and start checking google for who is sending the email really , where the server is etc ,

I have found many cons on selling cars on craigslist where they took all the info off a 6 month old ebay listing ,

most of these are easy to figure out , but I have had friends ready to send a deposit until I showed them the old ebay listing ,

The Con men look at this as a "sales" job , they are happy getting 1 out of 100 to respond , and then they can start putting the pressure on for you to bite !

keep your eyes OPEN

Maybe you should better stay off those porn sites.

...to make matters worse.....

...in English...transactions are routed through Singapore....

...and...sorry to say....I.... for one...cannot understand their English.....

....the grammatical structure is often reversed (?)....

...this has prevented me from updating my account....can't really understand their instructions...

...and makes their emails seem like spam/scam.....

It is one thing to be gullible, but quite another to stand up and tell the world about it.

A cursory check of his PayPal account would have stopped this from happening. I wonder if other news stories will have a comment from a government official saying that their online payment system is safer, more secure etc.

if its anything like the appalling immigration 90 day report one then ..........we're doomedfacepalm.gif
