Multiple Entry Non B in Vientiane

Featured Replies

Apologies if this has been asked before.

I have to get a Multiple Entry Non B visa in August.

I previously had a Non B, it expired in 2013.

My employer originally told me to go to Hong Kong but have now suggested Vientiane as I live in Nong Khai.

Can I obtain this in Vientiane?

Regards

Vientiane does not issue multiple entry visas.

You can get one at the consulate in Penang if you have at least 8 months of validity remaining on on your work permit.

Thanks

I do not have a current work permit.

I will be obtaining the Non B first then returning to Thailand for the work permit.

You could get a single entry non-b visa in Vientiane but unless teaching you will need a work permit application approval letter to apply for it,
All nearby locations require the approval letter to get a single entry non-b visa.
Hong Kong as far as I know is the only location in the region that will do a single entry non-o visa without a work permit application being done.
You can apply for a work permit with a visa exempt or tourist visa entry.

Thanks Ubonjoe

I certainly require a Multiple Entry Visa.

My employer are now studying the best option.

Appreciate your confirmation that Vientiane will only provide a single entry Visa.

I will advise the Forum the outcome.
