Visa question

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I am currently in France but I stayed in Thailand without visa from January 27 to July 20 going 2 times to Cambodia to get passport stamps.

I plan to come back in Thailand on August 23 but the Thai embassy in France doesn't want to give me a new tourist visa because they told me I stayed already 6 months in Thailand this year.

They told me I come enter in Thailand but the immigration will only give me the remaining time I am allowed to stay in the kingdom.

My question is : can I go to Laos to get another visa using your service from the date I enter in Thailand and during the time I will be allowed to stay?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Nicolas Filippi

That is nothing new for the embassy in Paris. The tell people they have to wait 90 days to get a tourist visa after being here already.

You will get a 30 day visa exempt entry when you enter the country. They will not reduce the number of days you get due to being here before. Just nonsense that they were telling you.

You can get a single entry tourist visa in Vientiane or Savannakhet Laos.

Thaivisa forum does not offer any visa services. You may be confusing Thaivisa with this company. http://www.thaivisaservice.com/

  • Thank you so much. I know Thaivisa doesn't offer any visa service. I just didn't change a previous email I sent to Thaivisaservice. Sorry.
