Looking for dairy-free milk beverages

Featured Replies

Hello All,

I'm returning to the Kingdom after a couple of years away. I was hoping to get some insight into beverage availability. I'm looking for milk drinks-

Without animal products

Without sugar

Low in calories

There's an abundance of soy, rice, grain and corn drinks but like all beverages in SE Asia, they are loaded with sugar.

I love Pro-Fit Job's Tears and highly recommend if you've never had it before- http://www.drinkprofit.com/www/producten-details.php?id=14

I also found these ones online but haven't tried them yet-

Rice and sesame milk-

Soy Sesame-

Corn Soy-

Unsweetened almond milk-

I was wondering if anyone has tried any of these, if they are any good and if you can recommend any others?

I was wondering

Unsweetened soy milk is available in any supermarket.

Imported, unsweetened "milks" are available in upmarket supermarkets.

If you are allergic to milk products ( or you may be a vegan ) be careful what the labels do not say.

Lactosoy Blue label has milk.    Lactosoy Red Label no milk

You may find the same with packaged coconut milks ! unless you buy fresh from the market.

Sorry I can't help on specific products.

Sorry, but this is utter male cow ordure.

Do you have a single shred of evidence for your ludicrous claims?

And if not, why slur a perfectly good brand of soy milk and numerous brands of coconut milk?

Try and hunt down a label called Pacific….they make very good quality dairy alternatives….my favourite is Soy Blender….cant even tell its not milk when added to tea or coffee.
