Pokemania invades the Metropolitan Police Bureau HQ

BANGKOK: -- Nowhere is safe from the invasion of the Pokémon or the trainers who want to capture them - the cartoon characters turned up at the Metropolital Police Bureau HQ in Bangkok much to the amusement of reporters and police at the scene.

 

Following a briefing on another matter reporters turned on the application on their phones in the press room and were amused to find that Goldeen, Magikarp, Tangela, Pidgey and Staryu had infiltrated security and were all around them, reported Daily News.

 

And as if this was not enough there were two Pokestops - places where the Pokeballs used to catch the creatures can be accessed - in the area of the Police Museum. GPS - which is used the play the game - was fully functional in the police HQ area, it was discovered.

 

Meanwhile, reporters at Paragon shopping mall in central Bangkok said there was a huge crown of hunters or trainers using their lunch break to capture Pokémon at the roadside fountain. 

 

Students from schools and universities in the area and office workers joined tourists in seeking out the latest catches.

What an epidemic. 

To think people will rely on these idiots one day

the cartoon characters turned up at the Metropolital Police Bureau HQ in Bangkok

.......and felt right at home!

At last,     something for all those in the Ops Centre holding Inactive Posts to do.

Probably see them more employed than they were when supposedly in an   '  Active  '   Post.

Maybe , just maybe,  Pokémon Go might be able to solve those outstanding cases,  instead of using that older game Pokémon Burmese...........................................................

I feel sorry for those tourist police  trying to keep tabs on their foreign SIMS when playing pokemon

Simple minds are easily entertained.

Article 44 has been invoked the army has been ordered to arrest all pokemon. They face 10 years imprisoned in special military phone apps.
