The guy was wearing a skinny 1baht chain. Around 1/2 Oz.  

Do they come any smaller?

 

Any Thai will be able to tell you how much gold a family member is wearing. 

 

And when they catch her?

I guess its normal that the possible loss of his necklace seems to be more important then the possibility she accidentally overdosed him on sleeping pills
