Yes, I support DEI. I prefer the candidate's minority status be taken into consideration when hiring, with the goal of creating a more DEI workforce. I wouldn't categorize the Democrat's candidate in the recent US presidential election as being "flushed down the gurgler." Harris only lost the general election by 2.5% of the vote, and the majorities in both the House and Senate are both very, very slim. I do acknowledge that the plurality of the voters and citizens of the US are probably against DEI, but they are also a plurality of Whites, so being in favor of DEI would not be in their favor. But that is what DEI is all about - correcting the results of biased hiring practices by reversing the bias, at least for a short amount of time, until the makeup of the workforce mirrors that of the population. -

Thailand's Red Line Extension Nears Cabinet Approval in April
Picture courtesy of Bangkok Post Thailand's highly anticipated Red Line railway extension from Siriraj Hospital to Salaya is on the brink of securing final Cabinet approval by April. Transport Minister Suriya Jungrungreangkit announced that the 15.17 billion baht project has successfully navigated through all bureaucratic channels. Key government bodies such as the Finance Ministry, Budget Bureau, and National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) have already given their nod, propelling the proposal towards the Cabinet's decision desk. Meanwhile, the Department of Rail Transport (DRT) is putting the final touches on its preparations, expected to complete within the week. Once ready, the Secretariat of the Cabinet (SoC) will consult other important ministries, like the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry, to ensure thorough consideration before the final approval. Suriya is optimistic about everything aligning for an early April decision. This extension stretches nearly 21 kilometres from Taling Chan Station in Bangkok to Salaya Station in Nakhon Pathom. Additionally, a new branch to Siriraj Station will ease access to Siriraj Hospital, incorporating eight new stations along the route. With Cabinet approval, construction will commence in January, targeted for completion by January 2029. -

No stamp when leaving at Survanabumi Airport
I want to make things extremely simple for proving non tax residence in any future year and also planning it so I an refer back to my passport. I know you can apply to immigration to get some kind of report of entry and exit dates but this is my own personal record, scanned and backed up on my local computer and wherever I keep copies of such backups. I've never filled an 'extra large' passport in all my years traveling so not worried about that.
