peeba7
You might have to go to kho larn first, and get a boat from there, or rent a speed boat.
lemel
It depends how you go about it, what boat you can get, what speed etc ..Is it just to see the monkeys on the beach or a do you want to spend the whole day there (not much to do)? There is a catamaran that does a day trip to 3 islands and finishes up on Monkey island http://serenity-yachting.com/tours/pattaya.html not been on it for a year now but a great day out for the family. Otherwise I think you would have to hire a boat for the day, anything from probably 3000-35,000 and to get there from Ocean Marina probably takes 30 mins at 15knots from Bali Hi pier probably 1hour
pattjock
From Bali Hai pier the distance is 10NM. Most speed boats can do at least 30knots so the time to get there will be about 20 minutes. Fuel cost for the return trip will be about 2000Baht so you could probably get someone to take you there for around 3000-4000Baht. If you go down there you could also visit the navy beach that is just a few minutes away from Monkey island. It's probably easier to find a boat along Jomtien beach, just approach any of the speed boats anchored off the beach and make a deal.
