Does anyone know where in Bangkok I can find a photo-cell switch for my garden lighting, the sort that switches on when it is getting dark and switches off in the morning?

Most of the "Home" places have photo-cell lights.  But you might be better off with a timer (which are also available in the "Home" places) and probably more consistent than photo-cell.  For garden lights you would want to look into the low watt LED lights and, yah just put on a timer.

Yup ^^^, readily available in every DIY outlet.

 

Do look at using low-voltage LED lighting in the garden, much less exciting for the gardener when he digs up the cable :)

Unless it has a battery backup I wouldn't think so :whistling:
