Log onto the PayPal site. Sign up and enter your exact business details. Your company name must exactly match your business account name.

PayPal then deposit a small amount of money into your bank account. After this happens, log back into PayPal and verify the amount.

Other than answering a few questions about money laundering and verifying your email address, that's about it.

You sign up to PayPal first then connect your existing bank account. They verify you and that's it. The verification is done by PayPal making 2 small deposits into your account and you telling them how much they were for.  My US business and Thai personal PayPal accounts were set up that way. I'd imagine the process would be the same for a Thai business account if they offer business solutions here.

I've just done this this week.  As the above poster says,  you must make sure the name you give is exactly the name of the account.  The amounts Paypal deposited were less than 20 satang  each and took 5 days after signing up before they appeared in my bank account.

When they appear, make a note of them, sign in to Paypal and enter them in the format  0.16  and 0.05 (obviously using the real two numbers, not mine).  That's it.

The point of the Verification, enables your to transact with higher amounts.

Until verified, you encounter Re$triction$

You can also have multiple banking accounts, and they can be from anywhere in the world.

You simply then specify the priority order in which Paypal accesses one of them, at a time, until it collects enough to pay the transaction

Best to use an actual account, rather than a card based one,

- otherwise you will over the years be needed to repeatedly update expiry dates to keep the card workable on paypal

another problem using a Thai debit card is many are not set-up to send or accept International deposits,

So make sure you do that before signing up.

and as I remember Paypal takes  a few cents out of your debit card account to make sure its real, that is  why it needs to be international

As others already posted , it's no big deal . Just follow the instructions online.  I did it with Kasikorn and also make sure you have a Visa shopping card attached to the bank account.
