King extends condolences on the passing of former German President Walter Scheel

 

BANGKOK, 30 August 2016 (NNT) - His Majesty the King has extended his condolences and those of Her Majesty the Queen to German Federal President Joachim Gauck on the passing of former President Walter Scheel who died on August 24, 2016 at the age of 97. 

The royal message of condolence read as follows: The Queen and I have learnt with deep sorrow the demise of His Excellency Mr. Walter Scheel, former President of the Federal Republic of Germany. We wish to extend our sincere sympathy and condolences to Your Excellency and the members of the bereaved family as well as the people of Germany for this irreparable loss.

Aimed at winning over hearts and minds before it is too late, the puppets include President Rodrigo Duterte himself and his police chief, Ronald Dela Rosa. During the show they tell the children not to take illegal drugs or face the deadly consequences.
