Hassle Free Tourist Visa In Penang

Featured Replies

There's a lot of bad news posted on this forum, so I thought I'd share some good news.

My (American) passport contains almost three years worth of monthly, visa exempt stamps. I just went to Penang and got a single entry tourist visa with absolutely no questions asked. I was stamped back into Thailand for the proper 60 days, and again no questions asked.

I suppose after nearly three years it was time to finally get my first Thai visa.

For anyone in doubt go to Penang and use an agent. Excellent beaches there as well.

Isn't the real question, though, how long will they permit you to be a tourist in Thailand? Will it be for another 3 years through a combination of tourist visas and voa's?

I HOPE SO, THATS WHAT I'M GOING FOR.

IF NOT.

penag has always been easiest to procure visa. i have been won over to agent, but often go myself to consulate.

as for how long you are permitted. personally, i 'live' in thailand as a tourist and when it is time for me to go - i will. up to them, their country.

ill take my money and go where it is wanted. i enjoy the food, cleanliness and flats/power are cheap. easy dating. that is really all that keeps me in thailand anymore.

i have really soured on thailand and removed all interest in trying to build a life there or have a lt girlfriend.

Yep, they don't like us, period.

BTW -- Every time you watch Fox "News" God kills a puppy -- is not a smart remark.
