Wealthier people get stiffer fines in Thailand regardless of race. They are also expected to pay more compensation. In return they get shorter prison terms.

 

It's pretty fair really, a 400 baht traffic fine might be significant to a poor local but to rich thais and westerners it is alone not really a deterant. On the other hand a 30 day sentence in prison is not really a deterant for someone who lives in a room as small as the cell but it is to a wealthy Thai and most westerners.

And not saved of German but to the Russian Red Army who were winning on East front.

No definitely not the Americans , they came in late again after pearl harbour. If Britain had not have acted Europe would have fallen then Germany and Japan, would have won wherever they wanted.
