I'm Looking to hire a 10/12 seat minibus for 6/7/8 November 2016. I live in East Pattaya (dark side). I have UK and Thai driving licence. 

 

Where is the best place to hire a minibus from? I would prefer a minibus with a driver (ideally), But I also will consider self drive. Any good deals about in the Pattaya area?

Have you watched the way some of those guys drive....

 

Ever see pictures of the flambe aftermath after one crashes - even a relatively moderate crash/roll?

 

I took one for visitors - he incidentally had to stop for fuel - at an LPG station.....He promptly raised the hood/bonnet & they attached the fuel coupling right over the hot engine ---> a real flimsy set up......It didn't take too much of a stretch to see that line forced back & rupturing after nothing much more than a fender bender.....Then I clearly understood how & where the pictures of the fire gutted vans after crashes came from....Most with no suvivors.....Not withstanding the fact nobody buckles up - including most drivers.....

 

Only if absolutely no other choice I won't ride in those things....If I get any choice at all I look for a diesel powered one.....
