New Danish Ambassador to Thailand

BANGKOK: -- On Monday 5 September 2016, the Embassy of Denmark in Bangkok welcomed their new ambassador, Uffe Wolffhechel, and his wife, Susie A. Ruff, and the ambassador and his wife invited the whole staff for lunch at the residence.

 

They have been here for less than a week, but have already had many positive encounters with Thailand and the people here.

 

Uffe Wolffhechel has a substantial curriculum as a diplomat. Prior to joining the embassy in Bangkok, Uffe Wolffhechel has served as the Danish Ambassador in Kabul, Afghanistan, from 2014 to 2016.
