Priority Lane pass for Immigration with Malaysia Airlines?

I only fly business class with Thai, they have Fast track which seems only available to Thai airlines flyers. I don't think Malaysian business class can use Fast track, although there must be something arranged for first class I would have thought.

Not quite  true I use Emirates and always get priority passes  Business and First only, failing that you can buy for about 1-500 baht a  fast track using one fo the companies there at Swampy  who do that even if  u fly economy ( shudder)

Flying BKK-KUL-BKK with MA (90 day leave, non Im-O) in BC. Anybody know if MA do hand out a Priority Lane Pass

for immigration when returning to BKK?

Yes, you should get a fast track pass. If they dont give you one, ask.

All airlines I have flown with in business class have given me a fast track pass at BKK, regardless of my final destination in Thailand.

what does it save you? 35 seconds of your life? you still end up queuing behind all the other 'fast trekkers'..., and again at security.

it i a useless, 'make you feel important' feature of overpriced business class travel.

Inbound, the saving can be up to an hour - sometimes more.  Not 35 seconds.  Never 35 seconds.  Some people actually value their time; their lives aren't worthless or pointless.

Huh, you get through inbound immigration in Thailand in 35 seconds? What parallel universe are you living in?

The saving is indeed generally many tens of minutes and at peak times certainly can be more than an hour. However on very rare occasions for me both sections of immigration at BKK have been empty and the saving has been zero. Doesn't happen very often though!

Quite often I find that having fast-tracked through immigration I then have quite a long wait for baggage, which is something of a let-down. Still, it's nicer not to wait standing in a queue.

All in all the fast track ticket is well worth having.

if  u want to get to your destination feeling perfect then  Business class or first is the way to go.

Emirates  Pick me up at My house carry my  bags into their car, take me to the airport take my bags up to the counter where 9-10 times  I am the only one there, from there its the fast track immigration ( at swampy you dont go upstairs) straight into the lounge which is  quiet with a good  food  spread  right next to the gate, board direct from the lounge at many airports ( not swampy) no queue, straight onto the flight and lie flat bed eat sleep eat sleep etc, at the other  end you leave the flight first, straight to fast track, into the next car thats waiting straight to your door in Bangkok....................economy? no thanks Ill give it a miss.......my Mother also will give it a miss as shes almost 90, shell demonstrate some of the food  available.

If you are  in economy  the best advice is to say you need a wheelchair, this way youll board  first and most likely get to the front of  any queues..............many members  here may fit that category due to age:lol:

Bags delivered first with Business class and First in Emirates and they always come first, Im off the plane from the Uk and gone 10-12  minutes after touchdown many a time

I normally just show my business class boarding pass at the fast track counter,I rarely even see fast track cards anymore. And I have never been the fast track route and found it slower than the general immigration, especially when the Chinese tour hordes are milling around.

How little you know.

It's only overpriced,if you can't afford it.

Yes, mine come off first also but sometimes there's just a very long wait for anything to come off the conveyor at all. Probably just the luck of the draw.

i always fly business class, i still think its overpriced and what i was calling 'useless' in my post is, and this is from experience, the time advantage one gains from the 'priority lane' pass.

do you really think, hedghog, that the simple fact that you can afford something automatically makes it good value?

i don't.
