Phuket Town noodle vendor is adamant that her Super Cheap somtam was made from snake, not fish.

PHUKET: A local noodle vendor in Phuket has filed a complaint with police over a serving of spicy somtam salad that she claimed contained not fish, as ordered, but snake.

Wanida Pakamaad, a late-night noodle vendor in Phuket Town, raised the alarm by posting her initial surprise on Facebook. (See here.)

Ms Wanida tagged the location of her complaint as a “Super Cheap” outlet on Surin Rd in Phuket Town.

In her Facebook post, Ms Wanida pointed out that she had ordered Pla Ra Kra dii Luan, which roughly translates to “pickled fish made from moonlight gourami”.

“How could the supermarket have done something like this to me. I can’t imagine how. The supermarket must check this. Please share,” she said.
