I don’t have that much space left in my passport and I’m trying to determine how many usable pages I still have . On one blank page you can see the outline of the stamp on the other side of the page and I’ve noticed wherever I go immigration officers seem to be avoiding using that page.

Will I be able to rely on this page being usable in the end (i.e. when it comes down to the last 1 or 2 blank pages?)

I wouldn't bank on it, as you note immigration officers are avoiding using it. Definitely a very visible outline.

Was it a really wet stamp or has the PP gotten moist?

Thanks for that Crossy.

No the passport itself is in excellent condition. It was just caused by the stamp being too strong.

But now based on your comment I think I will ask an immigration officer at the next opportunity I get as to how they regard that page. I was thinking it would be okay for any country that uses full-page visa stickers?

It will be ok for stick on visas but I wouldn't rely on it being usable for ink stamps. I have an over inked (exit) stamp too that shows up on the other side of the page, and immigration have always avoided new stamps in that area.
