Question on non-Immigrant Visa Category “O-A”

Featured Replies

I shall be applying for my 0-a long stay soon. I am currently working in England but expect to have left be the time I put in my application, tho there is a chance I will still be working.

My question is with regards to the question of profession and employer.

If I am going to be moving to Thailand for a year is there any point to putting down the job I currently do or would it be better to stick N/A in the box ?

Anyone had the same problem and if so what did you do ?

Cheers.

Put down your current work information.

If you were already retired when filling it out, put retired.

It's understood you can't legally work in Thailand on that visa.

It's NOT a trick question.

The one thing I wouldn't put is N/A.

Put your usual occupation or retired. It's a generic application form and the answer doesn't have any impact on the issue of a Non O-A.
