Man claiming to be related to royal family arrested in Nakhon Si Thammarat

NAKHON SI THAMMARAT, 20 September 2016 (NNT) - A man was arrested by police officers in Nakhon Si Thammarat province for claiming to be related to the royal family.

Armed Forces Security Center Chief Lt Gen Thanakiat Chobcheunchom and Royal Thai Army Division 41st Military Circle Commander Maj Gen Teenachat Jindangern led the arrest of Mr. Kraisri Chantarapanya, who claimed to be a royal descendant, and his accomplice, Mr. Pitsanu Amwongsa, who posed as a high ranking military official.

Both of them have allegedly tricked people into believing that they could become part of a special security operation for high profile people.

The perpetrators were apprehended along with 19 other people at a resort in Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Authorities had been monitoring the duo and gathering evidence before making the arrests. Police also found catalogs of army weapons during the raid. All suspects have already been taken to the 4th Army Area where they will be detained for the next seven days for further questioning.

Soon the online catalogs for army weapons will be banned from the Thai interwebs.

Why does everyone want to pose as military, police and royal family members. They should just be themselves and accept the system or move to a free nation where the special benefits for these groups don't exist.

...sadly........rampant......

...no shame.....

when the official photos are taken for the media - they won't pointing fingers...

but pointing toes instead - just to re-enforce how lowly the perps really are on the ladder of society
