Hi could anyone tell me where I can get my visa from now? I know they have stopped visa by post everywhere now including London. I was wondering if they are still doing visa by appointment at Cardiff?

I very much doubt they no longer do them by post at the Embassy in London - where did you hear this ?

Well my uncle had to go there and stay overnight to collect his visa the next day and he said he asked and they told him no visa by post now. I've been trying to call London embassy but no one ever answers but on the messages it says no visa by post now. Also trying to call Cardiff but always engaged.

Cardiff will, indeed, issue visas while you wait, by appointment, for visas they are authorized to issue. Depending on the visa type, you may need to email them supporting documents in advance. Cardiff answers email.

London will not issue 'Some Visas' by post. London will not issue Tourist visas on the same day. You apply one day and collect the next but beware, it's a narrow time frame for collecting.

The average wait time to answer your call is around 2 hours.

I've just sent off my application for an SETV.  Their website says they still send VISAs by post, but their phone information says they don't.  It'd be helpful if you could speak to someone, but no answer from the operators.  I've sent an email, and await a reply.

The info on the phone is out of date. That has been reported before. They certainly do them by post since many people have done it.
