Yss rear shock for er6n 2012

I have been trying to get information about putting a yss rear shock on a er6n 2012. I was thinking about mounting a mx506-295t trl (for versys) . This will alow me to raise rear ride hight up 10mm from standard ome shock and the yss mx506-285 trl.

I belive someone has done this but noticed on a picture of his bike it was a 2009 model and it had a swing arm change to a versys.

I contacted yss but couldn't get anywhere but the girl saying different spec and don't use , but I'm thinking she was just reading from the catalog.

 

Has any one mounted one on a 2012 model and did it give you the geometry change you where after?
