Does anyone have experience with tourist VAT refund at Nong Khai? I mean is it possible to get it there with the proper paperwork? I remember seeing a VAT refund window there but someone told me I can get VAT refund at International Airports only.

Tourist VAT refund is only possible at international airports.

And it's only for Tourists, if you have a long term Visa you don't get it.

I'm on tourist visa but leaving with bus at Nong Khai so I guess I won't get the VAT refund there then. But I will go to Singapore on 22th October via DMK airport.

 

Do you happen to know how long I can use the VAT refund bill I got on 3rd September? Is it valid for 60 days?
