Is there a limit of days outside the kingdom that would cancel a one year extension (retirement or marriage)? 

Heard 6 months but couldn't find anything looking like official...

I stayed in total 7 months in Sweden during my extension based on Retirement. No problem.. But do not know the rules...

Thanks for the input. Start to think there aren't :) 

There is no 6 month rule. As long as you have a re-entry permit you can stay out as long as you want, but you need to return before the extension/permit expires if you want to renew and not start again with a new Non 'O' visa entry.
