SETV from Siem Reap via an agent? What agent? How to...

Featured Replies

Hello,

Is it really possible to use an agent from Siem Reap to get a Thai Tourist visa (SETV).

I'll be in Siem Reap for a few days and didn't plan to go to Phnom Penh.

If possible, do you have any idea of a serious agent? Because getting my passport stolen, lost, or getting scammed is really the last thing I need right now...

Thank you

Alex

The hotel I stayed at (Saem Siemreap) handled it for me.Cost was $75 for a supposed 3 day return.Due to some queries by the Embassy at PP it was 4 day return. Normally only passport and 2 X photos are needed. However if many visas in passport may be asked to show copy of bankbook or flight out of Thailand.I overcame this request through an additional $10 surcharge! The hotel seemed well versed in handling the matter and it was a great place to stay and explore for a few days. Temples during the day and great restaurants and bars. "Charlies" off Pub Street is a great watering hole with pitchers of Angkor draft beer for a few dollars. Everything in Siem Reap that I observed was denominated in US$. Definitely a nice vibe about the place.
