Moving House

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. I am 46, from the UK and on marriage extension visa. Me and my family are moving house from Bangkok to Pattaya next week. Do I need to notify the authorities? If so, who do I inform, where do I inform, and what forms do I sign?

Any assistance would be very gratefully received.

Cheers. C

You will need to formally change your address to Pattaya at immigration there by completing a TM28 change of address form. Proof of residence will be required.

They will also want a TM30 to be submitted.

If you do not change your address you will not be able to do 90 day reports to the office there.

If we send in a TM28, we need to also send in a TM30 as well? Or is that only because the OP needs to do a TM28 in Bangkok, and a TM30 in Pattaya? In my situation we will be moving just a few streets over, so staying in the same area as our original TM30 on arrival.

He submits the TM28 to Pattay immigration not Bangkok.

If you change addresses you need to do a TM28 and possibly a TM30.
