Banana7
Anybody flown Eva Air to Taiwan lately? How are the flight attendants?
tifino
I flew South with them from Singapore a while back Nice looking Kgirls - all of them The beers were served politely and with a smile - all of note were the beers cans were white, with little blue or silver patterns (my priorites were a little warped back then)
kailung001
I normally fly with china air to taiwan. Personally, I like Eva over china air. Flight attendants are nice and some of them are specialised in speaking Japanese, Thai or Taiwanese. All of them speak Mandarin and some English. Perhaps you are right, although my experience is that the Taiwanese are very proud to be so but anyway will be far more prevalent on Eva than any Koreans, as they normally are in Korea not Taiwan. JHolmesJr
Cool airlne and cool chicks....on a flight to san fran, they were too busy serving meals etc...so they let me make my own drinks in the galley.

I am considering 2 flights with them, one very long flight 12+ hours. It would be nice to be looking/being served by someone who was attractive and attentive. I only flew with them once from AMS to BKK-AMS and was pissed off both times because the window I had was very dirty which spoiled the view outside. I took a video of the landing in Amsterdam and you can see the state of the window in that. Also it was absolutely freezing cold the whole flight which was about 11½ hours. I complained to the FAs about it as did other passengers but nobody did anything about it. So make sure you take some warm clothing in your hand luggage just in case the same thing happens again. Ronuk
Great Airline to fly with. Flown with them for years all over the World. Royal Laurel Class is absolutely superb and the best value business class you will find between Europe and Asia.

Very professional ground and air service from all their staff. My next flight with them is Sunday, again from Bangkok to San Francisco return. Only thing that's not up to standard is their B/Lounge in London, they use Air Canada's one says it all. But is well made up for with their new one in BKK. Oh nearly forgot the staff are very attractive and very good at their job. Edited October 4, 2016 by fredob43
gk10002000
Lovely, just lovely, both the Taiwanese ones and the Thai ones. They typically have two or so Thai attendants on the BKK to Taipei route.

Over the years I might say I liked china air attendants a bit more. But the last 6 years I have flown EVA exclusively because of their Premium Elite seating and I was able to bunch up some miles and get some price reductions. I still love the EVA premiere elite seat class. However EVA has again changed the way one uses or redeems miles, and it is not clear to me that given my current mileage balance there is an easy way to use them for anything. Your correct about the mileage they now only seem to offer upgrades for miles. No good to me as I always travel Business class, as they don't do a first class I cant get one. Have complained but as of yet no Joy. Have been told they are looking into it.

This might be true for Chinese mainlanders, but Taiwanese are THE MOST FRIENDLY FOLKS in all of East Asia, quite close to the Myanmar people. Go to Taipei or Kaohsiung to find out by yourself. Only good experiences with EVA too, though my flights were short hauls, f.e. HKG - TPE, and in Y-class
Banana7
I see the attendants may depend on the route. Does anyone have any experience with the BKK to TPE or the TPE to YYZ routes?
