Vessels warned to navigate slowly in rivers and klongs in six provinces

BANGKOK: -- The Marine Department has issued a warning to all vessels travelling in rivers and klongs in Bangkok and five central provinces to reduce their speed and to stay in the middle of the waterways in order not to cause damages to riverside houses.

Aleppo’s main hospital on rebel side bombed again

52 confirmed dead in stampede at Ethiopia religious event

BISHOFTU, Ethiopia (AP) — Dozens of people were crushed to death Sunday in a stampede after police fired tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse an anti-government protest that grew out of a massive religious festival, witnesses said.
